Community Clinician Spotlight and Networking Events
We are incredibly excited to launch our Community Clinician Spotlight & Networking events. We hope these events will be special for a number of reasons-- to showcase and celebrate the expertise of clinicians in our community, to spend time networking and connecting, and to support the Diversity and Inclusion Fellowship. The registration of $20 will go directly into the Fellowship fund to allow us to support more diversity in our therapists and in bringing EFT to populations that have been marginalized.
If you are a local clinician interested in sharing your experience and expertise related to EFT (or EFIT or EFFT), please email Sarah at sarah@wbceft.com. The format (i.e. powerpoint presentation, TEDish type talk, experiential exercises, etc) for sharing is flexible and we encourage creativity!
**Note: This event has been postponed. New date TBD.
EFT Q & A Fundraiser with Kathryn Rheem and Jen Olden of the EFT Cafe
Join us for an informative webinar with Kathryn Rheem, Ed.D, LMFT, and Jen Olden, EFT Supervisor, for a 75-minute EFT Q&A for Conexa East Africa.
You have a chance to contribute to a good cause while also learning EFT.
In this fundraiser, we will discuss and answer some of your most pressing EFT questions, like:
1) What do you do when a Pursuer can't see or own their role in the cycle?
2) How do you work with anger and shame in order to move forward?
3) How do you help a couple get past an affair?
You will also have a chance to ask your own questions and get help with your professional struggles.
For those of you new to Kathryn and Jen, here is a short clip of them discussing how to remain compassionate with difficult clients: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cA6P0qEN5jk
After administrative fees, all proceeds will go to Conexa East Africa, a non-profit dedicated to supporting relational healing in high trauma, low resourced areas. As described on their website: "Conexa seeks to reduce or eliminate a community's reliance on outside health care systems that will hold them in a cycle of dependence while failing to meet their needs, provide quality care, integrate with their culture, or empower them to lead healthy lives."
